STATE WINNERS OF THE FFA SUPREME SHOWMAN RECOGNIZED AT THE 96th GEORGIA FFA STATE CONVENTION

MACON, Ga. – Winners of the FFA Supreme Showman were recognized at the 96th Georgia FFA State Convention held at the Macon Centreplex on April 25-27, 2024. 

In the Beef Cattle Species Keely Shultz of Jackson Empower placed first. In the Breeding Does Species Katherine Coletti of North Oconee placed first. In the Breeding Ewes Species Cash Adams of North Forsyth placed first. In the Market Lambs Species Cash Adams of North Forsyth placed first. In the Dairy Species Andrew Hildreth of Putnam County placed first. In the Market Hogs Species Ava Lynn Cravey of Dodge County placed first. In the Market Goats Species Paycee Jackson of Banks County placed first.

The top FFA exhibitors in showmanship had the opportunity to return to the ring to participate in the FFA Supreme Showmanship class, following the completion of showmanship classes. One showman is selected in each species show: Beef Cattle, Breeding Does, Breeding Ewes, Market Lambs, Dairy, Market Hogs, and Market Goats.

The National FFA Organization, formerly known as the Future Farmers of America, changed its name in 1988 to reflect the growth and diversity of agriculture. There are nearly 940,000 FFA members nationwide. The Georgia Association has more than 80,000 members, making it the third largest Association in the nation. The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success, through agricultural education.
